Appointment fees for Dr Ethan are based on time and complexity and attract some added costs for treatments and procedures.
The price guide shows what fees to expect to pay and the relevant Medicare rebate for the most common appointment lengths:

For patients wanting to have their first appointment with the Centre. This initial appointment allows enough time to create your file and update your past medical history, create a relationship and plan your health journey with us.
15min – 1-2 matters

30min – Referral and 1-2 matters
30min – Complex or Multiple matters (3+)
A standard 15-minute visit allows time to discuss 1 items allowing for the least amount of disruption to your schedule. Such as Results, Medications or referrals.

Telehealth appointments are a convenient way to have a doctors consult without having to find time to get to the practice.
The Doctor will aim to call you at or around your appointment time to have a consultation with you. This can be accessed by all patients who have had an in-person appointment in the last 12 months.
If you are unsure about your eligibility, call the clinic and one of our friendly administration officers can assist you.

Sexual Health Checks are a 15 min appointment that will allow any testing, treatment or preventive medications or measures to be prescribed and applied.

A mental health consultation is 30min long to allow your doctor to understand your situation and create a plan that will be best suited to your situation, connect with other providers and plan follow up care.

The skin check will last 30minutes. Allowing time for a comprehensive review of any areas of concern and your skin health, as well as plan for any possible biopsies.
*Procedures often follow a 15- or 30-min consultation where the doctor has discussed what procedure that they wish to complete with you. This time will be booked with the doctor, treatment room and the nurse.

If it’s for travel, work or boosters our clinic can provide a wide range of vaccines on the day or if the vaccine you need isn’t available, we can order then in for you.

Womens health checks are 30min long to allow for time to discuss any concerns, cervical screening options, complete any testing and connect with other providers to arrange referrals.
*Payment is required for all initial claims. A receipt will be provided so you are able to be reimbursed from your insurer.

Workcover appointments will go for 30min with the doctor. You will be provided with a work capacity certificate and any referrals required. If it is your first appointment of the claim, you will need to pay the consultation cost. Workcover will refund you the cost when the claim is approved. Once you have a claim number all Workcover related charges will be billed directly to Workcover.
*Please note the optometry section must be completed by your optometrist prior to your appointment.

Private Drivers Licenses can be completed at our practice providing that the Optometry section at the back of the form is completed before the appointment at GRMC
60min – Initial Antenatal Consultation

Antenatal visits are 30min long to allow enough time to complete any testing, checks or connect with your maternity team to get any updates.
No. All consultations with all doctors at GRMC attract out-of-pocket costs based on time and level of complexity.
They do however offer a sliding scale fee structure to accommodate various financial situations. You can discuss these fees at no obligation at the beginning of an appointment prior to care.
If you are a Medicare cardholder, you will be entitled to a rebate on all eligible consultations.

After paying the full fee, you have the option of using a Debit card to receive the rebate immediately, or we can send the rebate to the bank account held by Medicare.
The rebate will typically take 24 hours to appear and can be followed up directly with us or Medicare on 13 21 50.
Yes. If you do not have a Medicare card, you will be charged fees without rebate.
We can provide you with a tax invoice so that you have the option of claiming through any insurance you might have after your consultation.
Your doctor will arrange this for you at your appointment.
They will get signed consent from you for each service you would like to transfer Medical records from.
Our admin team will take care of the rest.
No. Our resident doctors do offer gender affirming care, however they are currently only offering it to patients 18 years and old.
